Currently our Two-Way Short Codes are only compatible with US carriers.  However we are currently in the process of evaluating a solution for our neighbors to the North and South.  We will update our customers as it becomes available.

TXTin has strict policies against spam, but we allow you to import contacts from a spreadsheet (Comma Separate Value .CSV file) as long as the contacts are obtained on an opt-in basis. This industry is heavily legislated and users must subscribe directly from their phones through a "opt-in” process. This is in accordance with laws that are intended to prevent spamming over text messaging. (It’s for this same reason that even if we had access to your client lists, it would be illegal for us to solicit to them). However you can import a list of contacts that have specifically given you consent to be entered into this text campaign.  To enable this function in your account,  you must sign and complete our Mobile Opt-in certification agreement.

The length of the messages is limited to 135 characters, but you have the ability to send unlimited messages to an unlimited client list. Most phones will break up the messages into 135-150 character messages anyway.

At the end of your message, there is a rider that reads "Reply STOP to cancel” if the user replies “S” or "STOP" they will automatically be unsubscribed from your list.

As a client of TXTin, we will not have direct access to any of your client lists and will not have the ability to send anything to them. Even if we did, we wouldn’t :)
